CLP chides DL for making wild charge against CM

Refuting Health Minister Dr D L Ravindra Reddy’s remarks against Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy that the latter was a real covert of YSRCP Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) has said that it was not proper for the former to speak ill of the Chief Minister in that fashion.

Speaking to the media at CLP office on Thursday, Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy asked Dr DL to withdraw the remarks made by him against the Chief Minister for the sake of the party. He said that this type of wild allegations would harm the interests of the party and the government.

Lashing out at Dr DL, Whip in the Council Rudraraju Padmaraju said that there was no meaning in the remarks made by Dr DL. He expressed doubts whether DL was in the party. He said that the party high command would initiate disciplinary action against Dr DL at an appropriate time as the issue has already reached the high command. (NSS)
