New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a humid morning today, a day after the city received scattered rainfall.
The skies will generally remain cloudy during the day.
There is possibility of moderate rainfall in the national capital in the afternoon or evening, a MeT department official said.
The relative humidity was recorded at 85 per cent at 8:30 AM.
The minimum temperature settled at 15.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above season’s average.
The Palam, Lodhi Road, Safdarjung and Ridge observatories recorded rainfall of 9.8 mm, 3.8 mm, 2.4 mm and 1.8 mm respectively over the last 24 hours.
The area under Ayanagar observatory did not report rainfall, the official said.
“The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 26 degrees Celsius,” the official said.
Yesterday, the minimum and maximum temperatures had settled at 14.6 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
