New Delhi: It was a generally cloudy Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average.
“There will be a generally cloudy sky with rain or thunderstorm likely to occur in some areas of Delhi and NCR,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the weather office, humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 87 per cent.
The maximum rainfall recorded for the past 24 hours was 5.4 mm at the Safdarjung observatory.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average. while the maximum temperature settled at 32.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average.
