Hyderabad: Siasat Urdu Daily, Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Helping Hand have set up three clothes banks at various centers in Hyderabad City. Clothes collected at these centers are being distributed to the poor families. These clothes banks are functioning at Darulshifa, Maula Ali and Qayam Nagar. Expanding their activities, these centers have started distributing clothes in slum areas.
Yesterday, clothes were distributed to destitute students, labourers and those who spend their lives on footpaths. On behalf of clothes bank, Dr. Durdana distributed the clothes to the poor people.
People applauded the welfare activities of Siasat Urdu Daily’s Millat Fund, Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Helping Hand. They told that clothes were distributed to poor people irrespective of their religion. It is a slap on the ugly faces of communal elements. A large number of non-Muslim students, men and women labourers received these clothes.
