Lahore : Prominent cleric and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri returned to Pakistan from Oslo on Tuesday morning to spearhead a campaign against the incumbent government and seek justice for martyrs of 2014 Model Town tragedy.
In June 2014, seven people, including members of the PAT, were killed and 80 others injured during a clash between PAT protesters and policemen in Lahore.

Upon arrival,Qadri addressed the media at Lahore airport, Qadri said that he had not expected the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Panamagate case that disqualified former prime minister Nawaz Sharif under Article 62 of the Constitution, the Dawn reported.
Cleric will be travelling to Nasir Bagh ground to address party workers and supporters upon his return to the country.
Qadri had spent a few weeks in Pakistan in June and left the country on July 1 to visit Egypt, UK and Norway.An Anti-Terrorism Court on July 14 in Islamabad moved to seize properties belonging to Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan after the two repeatedly failed to appear in hearings of the Asmatullah Junejo case in which a policeman was attacked during the 2014 sit-in in Islamabad.
He said that Nawaz had been disqualified for “lying and looting” and in order to rid the nation of corruption Articles 62 and 63 will have to be enforced.
Qadri said he hoped that after Panamagate verdict, getting justice for the victims of the 2014 incident form the Supreme Court appeared to be a possibility.

Meanwhile,former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will hold two-days road show from Islamabad to Lahore via GT Road on Wednesday.
Qadri questioned the logical behind Sharif’s GT Road show and said, “Who is Nawaz Sharif protesting against on GT Road?”
Qadri has even warned Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif that he would be held accountable for the murder of 14 innocent people killed in the Model Town Massacre in June 2014.
