New Delhi: It was a pleasant Saturday morning here with a clear sky, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average, the weather office said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m., was recorded at 82 per cent, while the air quality was “moderate” in the city.
According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the overall quality index (AQI) of the national capital region was recorded at 118.
“The sky will remain clear throughout the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover at 20 degree Celsius,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
At least 20 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by two to six hours.
Friday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 20.6 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average and the minimum temperature recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, two notches below the normal.
