New Delhi: No case is made out against Union minister V K Singh for his “dog” remark uttered in the context of the burning of two infants in Faridabad by UP police, while Delhi Police have washed their hands off the row by stating that the case was outside their jurisdiction.
VK singh was given clean chit saying his remarks were distorted and had nothing to do with the Faridabad killings.
Politicians on Tuesday came in support of the criticism by Dalit panel for clean chit given to Minister of State for External Affairs by police for his ‘dog’ remark.
Congress said that the video showing VK Singh making ‘dog’ remark is seen by everyone and even then if he gets a clean chit then the faith on police will not last longer.
RJD leader Manoj Jha said that giving such relaxation to the leaders will send out a message to the backwards that they don’t matter to the Nation. Earlier, controversy erupted when Singh, while taking about Faridabad killings, said the Centre could not be blamed every time ‘a dog is stoned’.
