Sale of Class X textbooks for the academic year 2014-15 has begun at the Textbook Printing Press located in the Mint Compound. TRTUC-affiliated Textbook Employees Union president Gajjela Nagesh inaugurated the sale of X Class textbooks on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagesh said the textbooks were printed two months before the schedule to make them available to the students as the syllabus was changed. Stating that textbooks were being sold at the rates fixed by the State government, he appealed to the students and their parents to avail the facility. He said barring on government holidays, the books will be made available to the students from 10 am and 5 pm.
