The Odisha government today decided to provide bicycles to every class ten students beloning to BPL families. Official sources here said 1.60 lakh students of BPL families of the state would be benefitted by the decision. The government decided to provide free bi-cycles to class ten students of BPL families after success of its cycle scheme launched earlier. As per an earlier decision the state government has been providing bi-cycles free of cost to all class ten girl students and sc/st students of families residing in scheduled areas of the state. With the new decision to provide bi-cycles free of cost to every students of BPL families, about 4.5 lakh students of the state would be benefitted. UNI
