Eluru, April 20: Police have imposed prohibitory orders under section 144 of the Cr.PC to quell clashing groups of the Congress and YSR Congress in Narsapur of West Godavari district on Wednesday.
Workers of the YSR Congress were setting up their office there, when Congress workers tried to prevent it. Both groups clashed and tension mounted in the area. Police have entered the scene and dispersed the clashing groups. They have imposed prohibitory orders to prevent escalation of the clashes.
