A clash between two families over sending a text message to a girl resulted in a death of a 54 year-old-woman at Vanasthalipuram on Tuesday night.
According to the police, Laxmi Narsimha Reddy (30), who stays in Sri Sai Saptagiri apartments, sent a text message to her neighbour Sushma on Tuesday. Infuriated over it the relatives of the girl including her father Ramchandar Reddy, S Laxma Reddy, Dinesh Reddy, and few others went to the house of Narsimha and questioned him about it.
A scuffled broke out during the discussion after which the family members of the girl allegedly attacked Narsimha. His mother K. Radha (54) wife of late Medha Raj who tried to save his son got injured and fell down. Immediately She was rushed to a nearest private hospital where she was died while under going treatment night hours the police said.
Vanasthalipuram inspector P Gopala Krishna Reddy registered a case under section 302 (murder) of IPC against Ramchandra Reddy and others. (INN)
