CJI Thakur calls upon advocates to help expedite cases pending in high courts

Lucknow: Chief Justice of India, T.S. Thakur on Saturday called upon the advocates to help expedite the cases pending in high courts.

Addressing the gathering of inaugural programme of spectacular new building of Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, Justice Thakur said that as the Allahabad High Court is celebrating its 150th year of existence, the advocates and bench should resolve to expedite maximum cases.

He profusely appreciated that the 1300 crore rupees building has no equal to it anywhere in the world.

Justice Thakur further said that the aspirations of common people have increased with the judiciary and it is incumbent upon the judicial system to deliver the speedy and cheap justice to people. (ANI)
