Hyderabad: With Ramadan just around the corner State’s Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is making elaborate arrangements ahead of the holy month.
Special attention is being given to sanitation with an additional 20 vehicles, staff deployed to clear the waste generated near commercial establishments in order to clean the city.
Addressing a meeting with officials, Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said a number of Rs 22 lakh has been released by the government for taking up sanitation related works across the city, TT reports.
Not only this but the government is coming up with additional Tents for the convenience of those offering prayers at Mecca Masjid with additional lighting being installed in different areas of the old city.
In an appeal, the government has appealed the residents to alert the local GHMC officials in case of any inconvenience he added.
