City schools to be provided with drinking water and sewerage line

Hyderabad, December 3: On the onset of the year 2011, 164 city government schools will be provided with drinking water and sewerage line facility as their New Year gift. This facility was made possible following great efforts and representations.

Most of the government schools of the twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad lack basic necessities. Though previously the complaint has been made several times but it seems the district administration felt pity now and has decided to provide basic necessities to the government schools.

Mr. M Jagdeeshwar managing director Hyderabad Metropolitan Sewerage line told that it had been decided to provide free water and sewerage line to 164 government schools. He said ‘during a meeting held along with district collector Natarajan Gulzar a list of schools with no water supply connection has been prepared.’

It is said that it has been instructed to provide basic necessities before December 31. According to district administration schools are most likely to get drinking water and sewerage facility from January 1, 2011.
