City-based realtor, Suchirindia Infratech (P) Limited, would honour an old commitment made to the Indian team members who won the 2007 T20 World Cup. Dr Y Kiron, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, will be distributing Plot Registered Gift Deed Documents to the cricketers at a star hotel here on Thursday evening. Several members of the present Indian team, which incidentally plays its first match of the series against New Zealand on the same morning, will personally receive the certificates, which pertain to the Suchirindia project Gold Coast in the city outskirts.
According to Kiron, the function also commemorates the company’s seventh anniversary since inception.
The cricketers who will be present on the occasion will be M S Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Joginder Sharma, S Sreesanth, Piyush Chawla, Dinesh Karthik and Ajit Agarkar, who were all members of the team that won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup. UNI
