The City Police have an accumulation of 2220 abandoned or unclaimed vehicles of various types and makes which are pooled at Shiv Kumar Lal Police Stadium Grounds in Goshamahal.
Therefore, the city police propose to dispose off these vehicles by way of Public auction as empowered U/s 40 of Hyderabad City Police Act. The particulars of vehicles are available with Sri Y. Any person having any objection or ownership interest in any of these vehicles may file an application before the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City and claim the vehicle with in a period of 15 days from the date of notification, failing which the vehicles will be auctioned, said City Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy in a notification.
