As a part of special drive, the Commissioner’s Task Force teams conducted special checking at various place in the city and arrested a total of 139 eve teasers.
The North Zone Team arrested 35 eve teasers at St Johns School, Secunderabad Railway Station, Wesley Girls College, Rathifile Bus Stop in the limits of Gopalpuram and Market Police Stations. Similarly, the West Zone Team apprehended 11 eve teasers at SR Nagar Bus Stop in the limits of Sanjeev Reddy Nagar Police Station.
While the East Zone Team apprehended 47 eve teasers at R S Brothers Cloth Show Room in the limits of Malakpet, Sulthan Bazar Bus Stop and near Boja Reddy Engineering College, Saidabad Police Station Limits, the Central Zone Team apprehended 46 eve teasers at Melkote Park, Baghlingampally Bus Stop, Chikkadpally Bus Stop and Narayanaguda Bus Stop in the limits of Narayanaguda and Chikadpally police stations.
The raids were conducted under the supervision of Additional DCP P Rameshaiah.
