Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police announced Rs 1 lakh cash reward to any person who could provide information about Ravi Sekhar who has allegedly kidnapped a B. Pharma student a week ago.
According to police sources, the girl was taken away by force from her locality, Hayath Nagar.
The sources said though they have launched an intensive search for kidnapper they have not been able to track him down.
The Police have put up the photograph of the girl whose name is Soni. They have also published the picture of the accused Sekhar on the City Police Facebook page.
According to sources the accused made friendship with the girl and her parents when they reached Hyderabad. The accused found that the girl was looking for a job. The accused took the parents and the girls in his from their hotel saying that they would be going to a prospective employer. On the way, the accused asked the parents to disembark and wait for them to return from the meeting. He sped away with the girl and never returned.
