City Muslims urge KCR to field 20 Minorities in election fray

Hyderabad: Senior and primary members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi today demanded that the State government render justice to the Muslim minorities and others as per the promises made by K. Chandrashekhar Rao, which were not fulfilled.

Addressing the media here today, M.A. Haq Qamar, TRS city wing general secretary said before formation of Telangana State, KCR had promised that he would field some 15 to 20 Minorities in the election fray and 4 to 5 would be inducted in the cabinet. But he failed to implement t his promise, he added. He appealed to the party Muslim minority cadre was hopeful that the KCR will do justice in ensuing Assembly Election by giving appropriate representation as per the population of Muslim minorities. But so far, the ruling party failed to declare its stand towards representation of Muslim minorities. (NSS)
