City may continue to face rain in another two days

The Meteorological Center, Hyderabad has already issued ‘hailstone warning’ in eight districts of the state. India Meteorological Department officials said rains may continue for two more days and some of the districts might see heavy rains as the winds have already crossed the coast of Odisha from the Bay of Bengal.

The slight spell of rainfall, which began across the Telangana state last night, is slowly transforming into a heavy rainfall and is likely to lash the entire state. On Sunday, there was a slight rainfall in several parts of the state, especially the northern parts witnessed slightly heavy rains.

Several parts of the city witnessed heavy rainfall in the evening, thought the weather in Hyderabad remained stable in the day time on Sunday, The weather may return to normal condition by Wednesday if the winds slow down, Rao added.

Some parts of Nizamabad and Adilabad districts saw the rainfall of 7 cm which is considered closer to heavy rainfall.
