Hyderabad, September 21: A youngster from Hyderabad, Ragidi Sai Venkat Reddy, met with a tragic end while holidaying in the USA.
The teenager, who had finished his Intermediate and was waiting to join in an engineering course, went to the US along with his sister for a visit. A couple of days ago, the car in which Sai Venkat was travelling skidded off the road and plunged into a river in Florida. Venkat drowned while two others in the car, including his sister R Mounika, escaped with injuries. They are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The incident took place near Orlando in Florida.
Venkat is the son of R. Lakshma Reddy, a Congress leader from Habsiguda. It is learnt that Lakshma Reddy had already left for the US on hearing the news.
