Hyderabad: BJP floor leader in Telangana assembly G Kishan Reddy expressed concern that twin cities denizens are facing a lot of problems due to the inefficiency of the state government which failed to mitigate woes caused by recent heavy rains.
Kishan Reddy poohpoohed the TRS government’s claim that it will make Hyderabad a world-class city. The government has been promising the people that Hyderabad city would be developed on part with the world-class city, but it failed to provide any basic facilities to people for the last three years, the BJP leader alleged.
The process of changing LED bulbs, a centrally sponsored scheme, is very tardy in the city, Kishan Reddy said. It was meaningless to say that GHMC has saved Rs 27 crore in the energy bill. The electricity bill amount is very less as street lights are not blowing. Taking a dig at KCR, the BJP MLA said the former had said that city roads would be developed as a mirror. (NSS)
