Rain, accompanied by gales, lashed many places in Hyderabad City on Tuesday. Champapet, Saidabad, Dilsukhnagar, Vanastalipuram and many places in Old City have received rain. The citizens, who were groaning under sun fury, heaved a sigh of relief with the sudden rain.
On the other hand, heat wave conditions prevailed over districts like Karimnagar, Khammam and Nizamabad. According to India Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places across the State.
The IMD also warned heat wave conditions will continue at many parts in the districts of Adilabad, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Ranga Reddy and Warangal. (NSS)
