Circle Inspector of Police (A1) and his Gun Man (Police Constable) (A2) O/o Circle Inspector Kowtala (V&M), Adilabad District were caught red handed by the ACB Officials at about 3.00 PM on Jan 30 at his office, when they demanded and accepted an amount of Rs. 6,000 (Rupees Six thousand only) as bribe from the complainant for doing an official favour i.e. “not to register FIR and not to arrest the complainant, as there is petition lodged against the complainant”.
Bribe amount of Rs. 6,000 was recovered from A2. Both the Accused have been arrested and will be produced before the Honorable Ist Addl. Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad. (INN)
