The CII is organizing a conference on ‘Availability, Accessibility and Affordability of Power in India – The Roadmap to ensuring Power for All’, on May 6 at 11 am at CII-ohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, Madhapur.
CII is initiating a Flagship Conference Series to focus on the Central and State Governments’ efforts, and the role of industry in attaining this target within the defined timelines. To ensure a running start, the first A3 Series Conference is being scheduled to be organized in Hyderabad for the State of Andhra Pradesh, which is one of the chosen states for ‘Ensuring Power for All Scheme’. The half-day conference will provide a platform to discuss the power situation in the state and the regulatory, commercial and socioeconomic issues involved in creating a strategic roadmap to ensure affordable access to power for all consumers.
Ajay Jain, Secretary, Dept. of Energy, Infrastructure and Investment, AP will be delivering the keynote address. K Ranganatham, Advisor, Department of Energy, AP will chair the Panel Discussion. (NSS)
