Chris Rock to star in ‘Fargo’ TV series

Washington: Hollywood actor Chris Rock is set to star in season four of American series ‘Fargo’.

Variety reported that the shooting of this season will commence next year.
The story will revolve around the theme of immigration and the things people do to gather money.

The current season of ‘Fargo’ is set in the year 1950 on the backdrop of Kansas City where Italian and African-American criminal organisation have struck a peace chord.

In order to maintain this peace the head families of both the organisations exchange their eldest sons.

The ‘Grown Ups’ star will play the head of either syndicate, who sends his son to the other enemy organisation wherein they must raise his son as their own.

The plot is in for a twist when the head of the mafia in Kansas City dies after a routine surgery.

Rock, who is set to play an important character, said that he is already a fan of this series, Variety reported further.

Notably, the first season won three Emmy Awards; the second one earned two while the third season landed six nominations.
