Chris Rock to direct Kevin Hart in ‘Co-parenting’

Washington: Actor Chris Rock is in talks to direct Kevin Hart for the upcoming Hollywood comedy movie ‘Co-Parenting’.

Rock is set to go behind cameras again after his debut 2014 comedy movie ‘Top Five’, reported Deadline.

The film revolves around a stay-at-home dad who has taken up the responsibility to raise the children while his CEO wife is the breadwinner for the family.

The twist comes about when the man finds himself in an emotional and public turmoil when his wife kicks him out of the home following a bitter divorce and custody battle. The film is an original idea devised by Rock and Hart.

‘Co-Parenting’ which is being produced by Will Packer, aims to mix comedy with emotion.

On a related note, Hart will be next seen in the remake of French movie ‘Les Intouchables’ alongside Bryan Cranston and Nicole Kidman.

Meanwhile, Rock was last seen in Netflix comedy ‘Week Of’. He recently completed shooting ‘Dolemite’ which is being directed Craig Brewer, which stars Eddie Murphy.
