Chris Pratt to star in Taylor Sheridan’s next film

Washington: American actor Chris Pratt is all set to star in Taylor Sheridan’s next action thriller film.

With ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3’ postponed, Pratt is in talks to join Sheridan for the new writing and directing project, reported Variety.

The film is being produced by David Heyman, which is set up at Warner Bros. The story revolves around a former Special Forces Commando played by Pratt, who is recruited by the Drug Enforcement Administration to lead a black ops strike team targeting drug dealers who are protected by the Central Intelligence Agency.

The working title of the movie is ‘Fast’, it would be Sheridan’s follow-up to his directorial debut ‘Wind River which had released in 2017.

The project gives Pratt yet another potential franchise, he expressed immediate interest in the film upon meeting with Sheridan.

Pratt has been a part of 2018’s two biggest films including ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, which grossed over USD 2 billion worldwide and ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ which minted over USD 1.3 billion.
