Washington: Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin revealed that he felt miserable after parting ways with Hollywood actor Gwyneth Paltrow in 2014.
In his upcoming documentary ‘Coldplay: A Head Full of Dreams’ he said he was in a great deal of pain after his marriage with Paltrow ended, reported E! Online.
Martin also said that he is not able to enjoy “great things around” him. The singer further said that despite feeling miserable he confirmed that he will never moan about the past relationship.
Martin credited his friends for helping him recuperate from the pain of separation and called it a “journey from ultimate loneliness to ultimate togetherness”.
His bandmates Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, and Will Champion were said to be concerned about his mental health.
Post the breakup Martin and Paltrow are in good terms as they share two children.
