Chouhan confident of BJP’s win in MP polls

Umaria (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday said that he is confident of his party’s win in the recently-held assembly elections in the state.

“There cannot be a surveyor bigger than me, someone who is among the people day in and day out.

Therefore, I am saying this confidently that the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government.

This is important for everyone – poor, farmers, children and women,” Chouhan told media here.

The state went for voting on November 28, and the results will be announced on December 11. As many as 2,899 candidates were in the fray including 250 women and five third gender candidates.

Earlier today, Chouhan along with his family offered prayers at the Pitambara Peeth temple in Datia.
