Vishakapatnam, May 09: It was a rare sight for the fans of Chiranjeevi.
Much to their delight, the Tollywood mega star of yesteryears, almost enacted a scene from many of his films when he went on a horse ride on the streets of Payakaraopata, a small town on the border of Visakhapatnam distict.
The Praja Rajyam supremo, who is on his bus yatra demanding early start of Polavaram irrigation project, reached Payakaraopata today afternoon and went straight to the house of his party’s state secretary Gaddam Bujji for taking a break. But, finding Bujji’s horse tied in the stable, PRP chief forgot all his fatigue and could not resist the temptation of going for a horse ride.
Reminiscing his filmy days, Chiru hopped on to its back and galloped along the streets of the small town.
With thousands of his fans, who had turned up braving scorching sun and waiting on roadside, cheering him and adrenalin running high, he manoeuvered the horse through crowded streets for nearly half an hour. According to the eyewitnesses, Chiru perfectly controlled the horse showing his proven expertise in horse-riding.
