Congress party mulls over appointing Chiranjeevi, who merged his Praja Rajyam Party in the Congress, as the deputy floor leader of Congress legislature party to provide him front seat in the assembly.
It must be noted that the politician turned film star Chiranjeevi being the PRP president with 18 MLAs were provided front seat in the assembly and now that the PRP MLAs including Chiranjeevi are identified as Congress MLAs however the proceeding of its merger in the assembly is not yet complete.
If speaker assembly Mr. N Manohar announces the merger of PRP into Congress, in that case the first time elected Chiranjeevi will have to sit on back seats. Hence to provide him a chance to sit in the front line, it is most likely that he will be made deputy floor leader of Congress legislature party.
