Endowments Minister C Ramachandraiah has said Union Tourism Minister Dr K Chiranjeevi’s role was there in the victory of the Congress in Karnataka.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Ramachandraiah said the Congress received good results in Karnataka where Chiranjeevi participated in the election campaigning.
Stating that Chiranjeevi was a charismatic leader, Ramachandraiah said there was nothing wrong in stating that Chiranjeevi would be in 2014 election contest. He said it was not correct on the part of the leaders to criticize his 30-year political experience.
Another Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah said there were no differences among the Ministers and all were working in coordination. He said all the schemes were being implemented properly in the State. He said the Karnataka election results have proved that there was no alternative to the Congress party. He said the leaders of his party were happy on Karnataka results and hoped the same trend would continue in the country in 2014.
Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao said AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi was the reason for the victory of the Congress in Karnataka. He said the people of Karnataka voted against corruption. He said the same trend would continue across the nation in future too. (NSS)
