Hyderabad, August 16: Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi on Sunday admitted that there are ‘some leaders who are angry at the party leadership’ and said that he is working to address their grievances.
The PRP chief was addressing the gathering after unfurling the National Flat go mark Independence Day at party office in Jubilee Hills.
Mr Chiranjeevi called on his party cadre to leave their personal difference aside and work alongside him to strengthen the party.
The actor-turned-politician said that the PRP stood for power to the people and it was essential that people enjoy the benefits of freedom.
He called for an end to corruption to enjoy the real benefits of freedom.
Referring to the issue of illegal allotment of lands by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) to Emmar Properties, Mr Chiranjeevi said that, “development of the state is not possible without completely eradicating the corruption in all government schemes.”
The PRP chief said that public properties were encroached upon by some influential and undesirable elements due to uncertain political situation in the state.
