China denying the Religious freedom of Kazakh Muslims

Xinjiang: Uyghurs, the ethnic group of Xinjiang, have been persecuted for decades. Now, it seems, it’s the turn of Kazakh Muslims living on the border with Kazakhstan.

The Uyghurs have been denied the right to practice their own religion. The Chinese Government is now targetting Kazakh Muslims and forcing them to stop following their Islamic practices.

According to reports, the kazakh community is facing several restrictions from the government. The security agencies have taken Koran, prayer mats, and other religious articles of Kazakh families and have deployed security forces in the area which has seen their increasing presence.

Also, China asks the other religious minority, Christians, to replace image of Christ with President Xi Jinping’s.
