A relaxed and confident Pervez Musharraf sipped coffee and smoked cigars at his residence in Chak Shahzad before deciding to surrender himself to the police, according to his counsel. The former Pakistan president and military dictator was arrested a day after his bail was cancelled by the Islamabad High Court, in a case related to the dismissal of judges when he was Pakistan”s president, reports The Express Tribune. Counsel Ahmed Raza Kasuri claimed Musharraf was very relaxed and confident while he exchanged views on his bail cancellation with party leaders the previous day. Musharraf dramatically fled the Islamabad High Court on Thursday after judges ordered his arrest. The police tried to reach Musharraf, but he was escorted by his personal security, and fled in his bullet-proof black four-wheeler.
