Over 70 Muslims attained martyrdom, more than 100 left injured and over 50 thousand displaced following Muzaffarnagar riot. Local Muslims feel that whatever happened was of Allah wisdom, because before the riots they were deviated from religion, they were unaware of religious education. Working as bounded labour they were entrapped into subservient mentality.
Now Muslims got educational awareness they want that their children get modern education along with religious education to ensure protection of their democratic rights. On the fund raising appeal by Siasat Muslims from around the world generously donated for their ill-fated brothers. With the joint efforts of Siasat and Faiz-e-Aam Trust two Hyderabad Millat Public Schools were setup in Jogiya Kheda where 540 students are studying. Muslims of 15 other villages also request to setup schools in their area.
