A nation, which forgets its past can’t progress. Our children have gone away from Urdu Language and as a result of it, they have gone astray from Islam also. Prof. S.A Shukoor Secretary Urdu Academy made this remark while releasing the book on Khandaq Battle compiled by Mr. Habeeb Abdur Rahman-Al-Hamid. He was addressing a gathering in Urdu Ghar, Moghalpura in connection with the release of this book.
Syed Ghouse Khamooshi Trust organized this function. Qazi habeeb Saleh Bin Abdullah Junaid recited the Quranic verses and Dr. Tayyab Pasha Quadri recited Naath-e-Shareef. Mr. Jalal Arif introduced the book.
Continuing his speech, Prof Shukoor said that Urdu Academy provided financial assistance to 25 books written on Islam. Maulana Syed Azam Ali Sufi in his presidential speech said the battle between truth and falsehood would continue till the Doomsday.
He told that the revolution which Prophet Mohammed(pbuh)brought about in 23 year would last till the Doomsday. The Battle of Trench(khandaq)is an important landmark in this revolution.
Dr. Aqueel Hashmi said that in the life of Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) the moments of struggle are also included.
Dr.Islamuddin Mujahid told that the life of Prophet Mohammed(pbuh)is the best model for us to adopt in our lives.
Maulana Hussain Shahed pointed out a positive aspect of this battle. Maulana Habeeb Abdur Rahman-Al- Hamid gave the details of the Bnattle of Khandaq as mentioned in his book.
