Chennai, March 19: A sessions court today transferred a child abuse case against a Dutch national to a Fast Track Court.
Principal Sessions Judge P Devadoss transferred the case of Will Heum to Fast Track Court IV and posted further hearing for March 26.
Earlier, the case was ‘committed’ by a city court to the sessions court.
Charged under different sections of IPC, including abduction and unnatural offences, Heum was arrested last year based on an Interpol alert that he was uploading child pornography from Chennai.
A computer hard disc, laptop and some other accessories were recovered from him at the time of his arrest.
Heum is also facing charges of sexual abuse against children at a home in the tourist town of Mahabalipuram, about 60 km from here.
