Chief Whip Warns Nagam

Hyderabad, July 23: The Government Chief Whip, Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has warned the TDP senior leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, either to control his language or face the wrath of the Congress activists. He said that Dr Reddy would be meted out a fitting lesson from the Congress activists if he continued to use the same language in future. The Congress leaders were not NTRs to tolerate their language and behavior, he warned.

Speaking to the media at the CLP office here on Thursday along with the Government Whip, Mr Sailajanath, Mr Mallu said that the TDP Chief”s position would not rise by criticising Ms Sonia Gandhi.

Mr Sailajanath said that it was surprising that Mr Naidu, who incited his party leaders to throw footwear at former chief minister late NTR, was preaching sermons on self-respect of Telugu people. Mr Chandrababu scripted the “Babli drama” to escape from the campaigning for by-elections in the Telangana region.

Reminding the observations of the High Court against Mr Naidu, he said that it was high time for the former chief minister to stop the Babli drama. The TDP was not sincere about the Babli issue, but it was only sincere for ‘media attention’.

Responding to a query, Mr Shailajanath said that the Congress party has no inhibitions for fighting unitedly along with all the Opposition parties, including Telugu Desam, on the Babli issue.
