Hyderabad, September 21 (Siasat News): Chief Minister K Rosaiah has directed roads and building department to immediately begin the work of repairing battered and damaged roads.
He also directed finance department to sanction necessary funds regarding this and to release additional funds if required. Chief Minister reviewed the damages caused by the flood in the state with the officials of finance and roads and buildings departments and GHMC in his camp office.
He said ‘8705 kilometer roads have been damaged and some of them are severely damaged.’ Commissioner GHMC has been directed to immediately start off the work of repairing city roads on which commissioner informed him that tenders have been invited for repairing roads, as soon as the rain ceases, the work will start off on war footings and will be completed within 10 days.
