Former Chief Engineer Ali Nawaz Jung’s family in destitute condition

Hyderabad: Noted Chief Engineer, Ali Nawaz Jung who is responsible for the construction of Osmania University, Osmania Hospital, Osman Sagar and other Engineering marvels has been forgotten by the present Govt. His grandson, Mir Ahmed Ali is forced to sell idly and Doosa, although, his grandfather had several acres of land in Banjara Hills, Madhapur and Nizamabad.

It may be mention that 11th July is celebrated in Telangana State as Engineers’ Day. His grandson, Mir Ahmed Ali had to ply autorickshaw and taxi for his survival. He also worked in poultry farm and in Aurangabad Fabric Mills.

It is stated that Ali Nawaz Jung had nine acre and 10 guntas land under survey number 129/49/D2, 29/49/D3 and plot number 56 at road number 12 in Banjara Hills and 61 acres in Madhapur. The family members of Ali Nawaz Jung are invited in Govt. functions but they have no access to their lands.

CM is requested to do justice to this family to get the possessions of their lands. Mr. Ahmed Ali met Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and presented a valuable book to him.
