Hyderabad, February 01: BJP senior leader Prakash Javadekar today termed as “ambiguous and incomplete” the statement of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on Telangana issue.
The Home Minister has not specified what will be the mechanism and its terms and reference, Javadekar told reporters here.
He said the Centre should complete its exercise to finalise whatever mechanism it wants within a month time.
Demanding the UPA government to bring a bill and pass it in coming budget session of Parliament for carving out separate state form Andhra Pradesh, the BJP leader said the Centre should take a firm decision to normalise the situation in the state which has been witnessing bandhs, dharnas and agitations on Telangana issue.
Javadekar, who is also in-charge of state party affairs, reviewed the state party’s organisational elections.
