Chhota Shakeel denies rift within D-Company

New Delhi, June 13: Intra-gang rivalry in the Dawood Ibrahim group reportedly intensified so much that there are reports of one of the faction leaders Chhota Shakeel fleeing Pakistan.

Reports said he feared for his life and thus fled Pakistan. The factions, led by Anees Ibrahim, Dawood’s younger brother, and Shakeel have been at loggerheads for several months now. Sources indicate that Dawood has silently been backing his brothers over Shakeel, who is an outsider for the number 2 position in the D-company.

Anees has reportedly been trying to systematically neutralise the Shakeel faction and has been squealing to Indian authorities about Shakeel’s contacts in India.

Chhota Shakeel, the man who remains elusive, managed to evade the radar of Interpol and the Indian intelligence agencies. Shakeel spoke exclusively to Headlines Today and denied reports of any rift within the D-Company.

Clearing the air, Shakeel said he has not fled Pakistan fearing a threat to his life.

“Khuda ke siwa kisi se nahin darta..meri ek-ek saans unke naam hai (I am not scared.. of anything, anyone other than God),” said Shakeel.
