TRS leader Cheruku Sudhakar here on Tuesday announced that he was resigning from the party in protest against objectionable style of functioning of the party president K. Chandrasekhara Rao.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Sudhakar accused KCR of ignoring the Telangana agitators and giving top priority to those coming from the corporate bodies. He also alleged that KCR was transforming party senior leaders into dummies.
Sudhakar said he would convene a meeting of his admirers and followers to discuss his future course of action. He also made it clear that he was ready to contest the ensuing elections as an independent candidate. (NSS)
