Vowing to make her RK Nagar constituency a model one in the whole of Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa assured the people that all her electoral promises would soon be implemented in right earnest.
“I give my assurance that I will implement development schemes in RK Nagar making it a model developed constituency in the whole of Tamil Nadu which will wow people,” she said.
In her maiden post poll thanks-giving visit to RK Nagar, which returned her to the Assembly for a second consecutive term, she thanked the people for giving her an opportunity to serve them again. Addressing the people from her campaign van, Jayalalithaa said she had brought in as many good schemes as possible to the constituency in the past one year after she was first elected from RK Nagar.
“When I came here seeking your votes during the Assembly election, I made several electoral promises. I am fulfilling such promises one by one. I give my assurance that soon I will fulfill all the promises.”
Profusely thanking them for making her CM for the sixth time, giving her regime a second consecutive term and for re-electing her from RK Nagar for a second term, she said, “you find a permanent place in my heart forever, it will not be sufficient even if I thank you any number of times.”
“I will show in action my sense of gratitude,” she added. “Every time I come here, the love you shower on me, the reception that you accords me overwhelms me. I will live up to your faith and love,” she said.
