(Siasat News)Under the auspices of Millat-e-Islamia Welfare Society, Siddipet, Text books pertaining to Chemistry and Mathematics for Intermediate first year were distributed to girls students of Govt. girls junior college, Siddipet by Mr. Farooq Hussain, MLC on 31st August. The function presided over by Mr. Abdul Khadar, President of the society.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Farooq Hussain told that the organizers who are making efforts for the community are worth praising. The society provided text books worth Rs. 25,000/- free to the students. In addition to this it has given cash prizes worth Rs.200/- each to girls students who secured distinction at S.S.C. examination.
Mr. Farooq Hussain told that language has no religion. He announced that he would adopt five poor students and would bear their entire cost of their education. He requested the principal of the college, Ms. Nagamani Kumar to nominate five deserving girls students. The Principal in her address highlighted the difficulties encountered by Urdu medium students of her college. She said that the academic year has started 7 months back but there is no lecturer to teach Chemistry and Mathematics which is causing inconvenience to the students. Mr. M.A. Lateef announced that he would donate an Almirah to the college. Mr. Syed Miskeen Ahmed in his speech told that it is our duty to equipped the poor girls students with education.
