CHENNAI: The Chennai Police have reportedly booked a criminal case against actor Hrithik Roshan and eight others for allegedly duping a stockist of Rs 21 Lakh.
In a complaint filed by stockist named R Muralidharan, in Kodungaiyur claimed that he was appointed as a super stockist of a Gurgaon-based firm Xtreme Perfumes & Personal Care, to merchandise under Hrithik’s brand ‘HRX,’ a perfume in 2014, said that “the actor and others conspired with one another to dupe him of Rs 21 Lakh,” according to a report published in News18.
Based on Muralidharan’s complaint, the Kodungaiyur police in June registered a case against Hrithik and eight others under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
