Chattisgarh: ‘Bhaiiya’ raped a 7-year-old minor girl

Raipur: A seven-year-old girl student in Chattisgarh’s Raipur was reportedly raped on her first day at school last week alleges the victim’s family.

The Police have registered a complaint and are currently examining the CCTV footage of the school for any clue into the case, NDTV reported.

The victim’s mother said she spotted blood in her private parts while her underclothing was also missing when the girl returned from school.

“It was her first day at the school on Wednesday. She went to the school and we wanted to meet her at the school, but we weren’t allowed to do so. While changing her clothes after she returned from school, my wife noticed blood on her private parts and she was not wearing undergarments,” the girl’s father had told news agency ANI.

The parents told the girl could not narrate the ordeal to her teacher since she did not come to school that day.

The Chattisgarh’s Child rights commission intervened and said a team will be set up to probe the crime.

“She(the girl) is saying that a ‘bhaiyya’ had allegedly molested her. The peon of the school said she threw away the child’s underwear after she passed urine in it,” Prabha Dubey, president of Child Rights Commission told news agency ANI.

Assault and murder cases in India have multiplied by many folds over the past few months.
