Hyderabad, January 10: This is a welcome move that state government, archeological department and Municipal Corporation have announced to initiate Charminar pedestrian project to ensure preservation of the Hyderabad’s landmark and historical memorial the Charminar constructed during Qutub Shahi rule.
However already thousands of national and foreign tourists face parking difficulty, and now the ‘charminar pedestrian project will add to the woes of the tourist.
It is the need of the hour that the authorities should take serious note to ensure employment to the project hit daily wage earners and also the fruit vendors etc who are affected by the project.
According to details with the beginning and during the completion of the said project of the government more than seven thousand families will be forced to starvation as hundreds of people work as vendors around the Charminar and earn bread for the thousands of families.
